Caring for someone with complex needs can feel like a full time job, and it can be hard to find appropriate learning disabilities daycare in East Sussex. Our daycare centre provides a safe and engaging place for local people with specialist needs to spend time away from their home.

This allows the family or primary carer to take some time for themselves, safe in the knowledge their loved one is being well looked after by a highly trained team.

A home away from home

In keeping with the rest of the house, our daycare room is modern, well equipped and comfortable. We want all our guests to feel like they have a home away from home and look forward to spending time here.

There are plenty of fun and engaging activities happening throughout the day, and lots of people to socialise with.

Daycare guests are welcome to use our sensory room to relax, and enjoy our garden when the weather is nice.

Meals and refreshments are provided.

A taste of supported living

Daycare is a great way to introduce the idea of moving into a care home or supported living. Our team understands the challenges faced by people with learning disabilities and that professional care can feel daunting.

Personal care for everyone

We take a personalised approach to care to make sure every individual feels comfortable, supported and listened to. In addition to fun activities, we can also start to introduce the idea of working on development goals.

Our guests should leave the home feeling empowered, satisfied, and welcome to return at any time. Many of our Halland House family start off as daycare friends.
